Well, as you can see… videos of the week have suddenly become videos of the day. Thanks to my extremely busy schedule I usually tend to forget to update my blog. But here I’m just trying to deliver my promises.

By the way this is also a continuation from last week’s entry, rather the song of the week for 14th September 2007 on “What Goes Around, Comes Back Around”.

Do you believe in angels?

I do.

I believe that everybody has guardian angels watching over them. I believe that they are there to guide you in every journey you embark on. Be it when you breathe your first breath of life, to marrying your childhood sweetheart, to your last breath of life, to your journey to heaven.

You obviously can’t see them. But you most certainly can feel them, especially when you feel all alone in this world. Cause when you need them the most, they come into form via the 2 most important things a man can have in this world. LOVE and FRIENDS.

I believe in angels. Therefore I believe in love. And I believe in friendship.

Only a foolish man would think so. But if everybody’s head is screwed on the right way, then where would the fun and imagination in this world disappear to?

I have been the victim of believing in love and friends one too many times. And for a moment in time, I did stop believing in it. I just didn’t want to believe in angels anymore. For where was the angel when my “brother” was taken from me? Where was my angel when Jen left me? Where was the angel who was supposed to protect me and be by my side when I needed him/her the most? For that period of time, I gave up believing.

Boy oh boy how hard it is to attain the level of very confident, yet all it takes is less than 24 hours for it to be destroyed.

I’m going to admit it. I’m nowhere near the confidence I once had. But I’m also going to say that at least I’m no longer at the foot of the mountain. I have climbed up steadily and quickly. All thanks to the rope that was there yet I was too blind to see. My guardian angels were always there yet I just chose to turn my back on things and sat on my big ass thinking the world was ending just because mine was.
I ran away from the truth. I ran away from reality.

But after so much I realize one thing… I have guardian angels watching out for me everywhere. There’s not just one. There are plenty. You just have to open your eyes. Not all of them can be your angels for long, but if you know where to look they are right in front of you. Your true guardian angels.

“IRIS” is by far one of the best songs to be ever released to this world. Absolutely one of the best love songs produced, recorded, etc. The lead single from the soundtrack to “City of Angels” starring Meg Ryan and Nicholas Cage; a fantastically written movie.

Just listen to the song. Look at the lyrics.

I may have lost someone who I really thought was my guardian angel. I may have lost the love of my life that still and will always be the love of my life. This I will admit.

But will there be a 3rd chance together? No. Once you let go of something so close to your heart, no matter how much you try to get it back together, things will never quite be the same.

I will however take the memories with me, for she will always have a place in my heart for all eternity. But memories is all there is to live upon. It’s the memories that spur me on. To believe that I may have lost her, but there’s someone new out there waiting for me.

I’m a free agent now.

Xiaodi. Thanks for everything. We work well for each other. And we’ll take each other’s secrets to the grave.

I feel like a music critic. A good one though. Not like those nasty old bags seating pretty in the office thinking that Barry Manilow is the matron saint of today’s music.

At least I choose the very best of the best and usually the best that I choose are usually the music that really people relate to.

It has related to me and so I tell it to you in my story, and my beliefs.

I know what I’m talking about.

Well, sometimes things just have to be obvious enough for people to get it. Because sometimes we are all to blind to really see what is right in front of us unless you make it blatantly clear to them.

No Doubt released the smash hit “Don’t Speak”. Alicia Keys had a song called “Karma”. Justin Timberlake produced and sang the song “Cry Me A River”. And today, Mr. Timberlake is back at it again. Okay maybe not exactly today since he released this song like ages ago BUT this time, he made the ultimate break-up song, “WHAT GOES AROUND COMES BACK AROUND”.

Something related to the song as a whole and its video first. This video is like a small movie clip. It’s brilliant. The artistry, the production, the arrangement, the lyrics, the beats, the mood, the vision, the video, the feelings and most importantly, there’s Scarlett Johansson.

Alright, back to the point why this particular song stands out as possibly the ultimate breakup song of the decade?

Don’t we all just love to get back at our respected ex’s? We spend so much effort falling in love with someone whom we wish, pray and hope to be the one we have been waiting and dreaming off our entire lives; only with a flick of the fingers and *poof* it disappears before you can say the words, “I Love You.”

Then you spend days, weeks, months and maybe even years wallowing in self-pity. Moaning for all who pretend to hear you on how much you love him/her and why you had to be the one who had to endure all this shit and *blah blah blah*…

And then you perhaps, just perhaps, maybe found someone new. You are confused if you have really fallen for her OR if this was just going to be a repeat of what happened before, and the one before that, and the one before that.

If you haven’t found anyone, you are probably plotting the best revenge possible. Be it sleeping with her best friend, or trying to get back at her with 100 times more than she did to you, or whatever.

No matter what happens next, it will never be pretty. Then you have to endure the stress of being firm when you know it’s the hardest thing to do when she comes running back to you, apologizing that she was stupid. Crying because she was naïve. She thinks things will go back to normal and all you have to do is love her again.

Oh yeah. That is so going to happen. How many times have you fallen for that trick? How many times you called yourself a fool yet you still fell for it?

I have had relationships. All 4 relationships. But I admit of the 4, the last one was the most emotionally wrecking of all relationships I had to endure. Simply put, we were both in love. First loves always last the longest in one’s memories. Well that’s what it was, first love.

But with many love stories, there’s always a twist.

Many of you know what that twist is so there’s no point in me bringing that part of the story back up again.

I spend a long time. A really long time to come to terms with what you did and now that I’ve finally woken from my hibernation; I can proudly say that I’m now at the stage of “What goes around, comes back around.” Word for word.

What am I going to do next is for the world to see. You get what you deserve girl. Unfortunately for you, you haven’t fully got what you deserved. What you got is just the tip of the iceberg.

You messed with the wrong guy.

Keep telling yourself we will get back together. Keep telling yourself that babe. Who knows maybe it may come true one day. Remember… wishes do come true if you believe.

Should that day really comes, I pray you realize that I have let you off the hook once and I won’t let you off the hook again.

Oh come on! Who are we kidding here? Don’t we all wish to live a life of glamour?

Well if you don’t, I wonder which rock you would be living under (Preferably the rock which is under my shoe).

This is the world we live in today. We are all materialistic aren’t we? We are more interested in how fast of a buck we can make, rather than how fast of a buck we can lose.

With or without the money, I think anyone can live a glamorous life. It just depends what your definition of glamorous is. Most people’s definition of glamorous would be to have all the cash and credit cards.

For me, I am living the glamorous life. I may not be rich and all but I know I’m living a pretty glamorous life. I dress well, I eat well, I look good. I’m healthy. I have a Sony Ericsson K530i. I have a working MP3 which doubles up as a thumb-drive. I have an IBM laptop with fine internet connections. I have plenty of friends.

So I think my life is set for me. Well almost anyways.

So how glamorous is YOUR life?

Well what can I say? This man (Yes, much as he looks like a freaky alien from Halloween today) is still the musical genius of the world.

I think that is a fact you cannot deny.

This is one of my favorite songs of all time. Just listen to the arrangement, the beats. It gets you grooving man! And as I said, great songs are great if they are not accompanied by a fantastic video.

If you haven’t seen the video to Smooth Criminal, “you ain’t seen nothing yet.”

Come on. How can anybody defy the laws of gravity like this man here? If you have not seen the video, check out the 7.16mins of the video (You will be insane not to be that patient). Tell me! How did he do it? Was it superglue? Or some magnetism? If I ever had one question to ask Michael Jackson, it would be how in the bloody world he defied the laws of gravity.

And the moonwalk! SSSSMMMOOOOOTTTTHHHH baby! By the way, why is it call the moonwalk and not like space walk or something?!

Ok. I’m not saying I’m a fan of his weird behavior. Or am I saying I’m all support for his weird, broken nose. If you call it a nose, looks more like the black hole from here. In fact, if I was a body part of Michael Jackson (Which kinda makes every part of my hair on my body stand) I would hate being the nose.

But nose or no nose, his musical intelligence is beyond comprehension. It’s like he makes all these perfect records that just blows you away.

This goes to show that to be someone of his caliber; it’s perfectly alright not to have a proper nose. Hmmm, maybe I should check some “feng shui” book to see if a “caved-in” nose actually rewards you with complete success.

But whatever the case maybe, he has done lots for the world. Other than musically, there's his videos! And the work he does for the world's children. He actually donated $300,000 million in total to charity and humaritarian aids around the world. Come on, most of us here won't even part with $0.30 of our money to charity without grumbling or much hounding; let alone give a shit about the world. At least Michael Jackson gave a shit.

I've actually realized that quite a few of my friends really are fans of his music (Note I said music and not his physical or any other weird attributes that he shares with whoever he shares with at night). Especially my best buddy...

Oh I don’t know what goes on in a celebrity’s mind these days but whatever the case. A genius and his perfect work should always be shared to the world and not kept and let it be swept away with time. ________________________________________________________
